Assigning specific content to learners in SEN

Hi experts,

When you assign contents to learners, they can see all learning contents. But my learners belong to different SAP Modules. So, they should only see specific contents. Example: P2P module learners should only see P2P contents. But those P2P module learners are seeing all other modules like OTC, R2R, Ariba. How to avoid this?

What do you mean by 'assigned'? And seeing where? If you use Assignments and the Learner View, Learners will see only the courses/modules you have explicitly assigned to them (by Role, I hope). If you mean in the Trainer, then you can just give them a 'Start Link' for the relevant Group and they won't see any other content. If you mean in SAP Companion, they will only see content for the apps they have access to.

I am meaning Assignments in the Learner view. There are more than 150 learners in our list. We assigned all modules to the learners. As mentioned above, P2P module learners are seeing P2P contents and also other unwanted contents (Like RTR, OTC, FTS, Ariba). Please guide me.

Well if you assign ALL modules to ALL learners then yes, they will see everything. Define SAP Enable Now roles per user group (PTP, OTC, etc.), and then assign the relevant course to only that role. I strongly recommend never assigning courses to individual users - always use Roles (or OUs if you have them fully set up).

Hello,

I have same questions, what about the learning center, form SAP Companion ? they can see simulations I created.

Not good when it is for example HR documents, that we don't want all users to have access to

thank you

To limit the content they see on the Learning Page you'd need to split the content into separate Workareas and then have a separate Fiori tile for each area-specific Workarea and assign this to area-specific roles. Although they need to get into the app to see the content on the Learning page, as soon as they jump to the Learning Center they'd see everything - so again, a separate Workarea for the HR content, with access controlled by Role/Fiori tile would be the way to go.
