Hi,

We have a ERP 6.0 EHP4 on Windows 2003 and Oracle.

We want to do a SUM DMO to ERP 6.0 EHP7 on HANA.

Is it possible to start the SUM DMO on Linux AAS?.

We have a doubt because our PAS is Windows 2003 and AAS is Linux. When the SUM DMO wants to switch the SAP KERNEL, What will happened?.

Check https://blogs.sap.com/2015/12/15/optimizing-dmo-performance/, it mentions:

In general, SUM and SUM with DMO may be executed not only on the Primary Application Server (PAS), but also on an Additioal Application Server (AAS). However, running SUM with DMO on an AAS is only supported if your system has a separate ASCS instance.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer.

But I have not could check if the AAS is a different operating system.

Because, the SUM DMO will create a new ASCS on Linux operating system or it will use the old ASCS with a old Kernel on Windows machine.

Please, can you answer this question?

Thanks.
