Display Structure iView in PLM Business Packages fails

Hi All,

We are implementing SAP PLM Business Packages 50.3.1 in SAP EP 6.0 SP16 with a SAP 4.7 backend. For the 'Display Structure' iView in Assets and Products business packages, we sometimes encounter the following error ...

Could not establish a connection to the R/3 system!

This method should not be called anymore. The client was already released into the pool or the pool entry was deleted.

This error appears intermittently (ie. sometimes it does not appear, sometimes it does appear). Logging out of portal and then logging back in does not appear to fix the problem. Has anybody encountered this before and have any idea what causes it? We have tried doubling the JCo connection timeout, but that has not fixed the problem.

Any useful thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated and rewarded.

Regards

John Moy

      Hi Padmaja,

We are still encountering the same problem, and have logged a message with SAP. We have implemented single sign-on and increased the maximum possible jco connections, but this does not appear to have fixed it.

      Regards

      John
