Dear Colleagues,
I note the following in one of the SAP S/4HC TDR request templates “We also understand that the data transfer should take place at a time when the source system is quiet, ideally after business hours”. With branches in Australia, New Zealand and Canada there are no weekday quiet times on the source system for ICT.
Question 1 – What does SAP consider as a “quiet time” on the source system?
Question 2 – Can the SAP S/4HC TDR be executed over the weekend?
Best regards,
Mark Jarvis, SAP CSS (A/NZ), Customer Success Partner
Hi Mark,
Q1 - the less business on the system the better it is. If there is no 'after business hours', go for right after the busiest time globally seen. E.g. right after NZ business hours.
Q2 - No, it can´t. Weekends are reserved for maintenance. A test data refresh cannot run in parallel with cloud lifecycle and maintenance activities.
