BTP Workflow MyInbox AutoApproval Process

Hi,

I have a requirement in BTP Workflow for Auto Approving the MyInbox in Some days, if no one Approves it manually.

Is this possible. If possible can anyone say how to do it?

Hi,

there is no auto approval as part of the MyInbox functionality, but you can model this case-by-base in the workflow definition.

There is a quite similar question on reminding about a pending approval and jannes.s has provided an answer. See especially the screenshot.

For your auto approval case, you would rather activate the "Cancel task" flag in contrast to the "reminding" model. You might want to keep the mail task as a follow-up to timer expiry to inform the owner about auto approval. Possibly you would connect both the sequence flow that goes to the right as well as the sequence flow with the mail task / originating from the clock with an exclusive gateway and from there to the follow-up tasks of the approval.
