SAP Data Services Installation on Red Hat 8.5

We need to know if SDS (Sap Data Services) 4.3 can be installed on Red Hat 8.5 Server.

You can find the compatibility information for SAP Data Services 4.3 in the Data Services 4.3 PAM

The Operating System compatibility can be found on Page 8 of the PAM. On that page, we can see that RHEL 8.4 has been certified with Data Services 4.3 SP00.

One note (3) of that same page, it states: " This is a Red Hat Enterprise Linux or SuSE Minor version that Data Services certified. Redhat and SuSE state the installation of packages between minor
releases is supported. Hence Data Services will grant “compatible support” with other Red Hat/SuSE higher and lower minor versions within the same major
version based on Red Hat’s/SuSE’s eligibility statement of minor version compatibility.".

The above means that higher or lower minor versions of RHEL 8.4 will be supported so RHEL 8.5 will have compatible support.
