ECC to HANA DB Migration - External Connection DB EXEC SQL Remediation

Hello Expert,

We are migrating ECC to HDB and code remediation is going on.

We have some program in that we are getting data from some external database for that we have written EXEC SQL, for that we need remediation or we can keep this code as it since it getting data from external data base?
