Manual Purchase Requisition with automatic PR (reorder point)

Dear community,

I have a question concerning the manual and automatic purchase requisition.

I am considering this spare part material :

In the following situation : the material stock is 0 (because I took it out from the stock to use it in maintenance), and I would like to make a manual purchase requisition of 6 pieces for this material (because I will need them for an upcoming maintenance, so they are reserved for it). But at the same time, I would also like to keep the 'security' stock of 2 (so I would like to purchase 8 pieces).

To deal with this, I will have to make a manual PR of 8 pieces, because if I make a manual PR of 6, the automatic PR of 2 won't be created. But this supposes to have checked the current stock of 0.

==> Is it possible to make a manual PR of 6, that is not going to influence the automatic PR creation ? Maybe in the MRP tab or in the PR creation tab ?

I don't think you have a solution to exclude manually created PR from MRP considerations. but try creating a new Sloc , and exclude the storage location from the mRP run. Buy PR for that excluded storage location
