SAC for Multiple instances of SAP CPI

Hello All,

I am trying to configure SAP Analytics Cloud for SAP Clout Platform Integration (Neo) and and SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Foundry). But, I couldn't be able to configure multiple Instances (Test, Prod etc.) to SAC.

Can you clarify if this is possible or not?

Regards,

Naresh

Thanks a lot for your prompt response and sharing the links.

Actually I wanted to see the analytics of multiple CPI Instances parallelly as we have multiple Production environments (CPI Neo and CPIS CF). Disconnecting and Re-connecting to another Instance involves effort and every time one can't do it.

Does SAP has any plans of supporting multiple instances in near future? If not, can I submit a request on SAP confluence page?

Hi naresh.dasika11

Are you able to make a copies of the SAC delivered 1 Story + 3 Models (& rename them accordingly) and then create new connections (type: odata services) for your various CPI tenant (dev, test etc.) then repoint those files to those other connections?

i'm thinking that if you duplicate the business content templates, you could have a 1-2-1 relationship between dashboard and integration subaccount.

Please do keep me posted.

Kind regards, H

Hi moorthy18 i found this blog here which you might find useful : https://blogs.sap.com/2020/08/26/sap-analytics-cloud-content-for-sap-cloud-platform-integration/

it refers to a pre-built 'business content' package in SAC, described in the help guide here: https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_ANALYTICS_CLOUD/21868089d6ae4c5ab55f599c691726be/ae1c5dce30e1470f8ce75...

there is a section in the help guide that explains how to "repoint" the packaged connection, so that it points to your CPI tenant - running on either Neo or Cloud Foundry:

https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_ANALYTICS_CLOUD/42093f14b43c485fbe3adbbe81eff6c8/d95a6f35129449f98daa9...

however the documentation always talks about a tenant (in the singular) - so i would take that as meaning a single CPI subaccount, rather than analytics at a BTP global account level. (i.e. many CPI tenants)

Maybe you could unpack & restore the template several times or copy/duplicate it so that you have multiple versions of the SAC dashboard, each connected to its own CPI tenant i.e. 1-to-1, rather than 1-to-many

Would be good to hear how you proceed and what the outcome is.

Good luck!

regards,

H
