Business partners opening balance

Hello experts,

In SAP-B1. My Client is decided to not to enter Business partner opening balance through invoice wise. They want it directly done through journal Entry.

Is there any option to choose Control Account in journal Entry or it will get affected directly please guide me.

Hello Smitt,

Yes, you can chose Control Account in the Journal Entry if the Control Account has been assigned to the Business Partner. This was not always the case so I am wondering what version of SAP Business One you are using?

The Control Account field in the Journal Entry needs to be exposed and active. Try that first.
