NWDI 7.0 Installation Files/Guides

Hi All,

I am trying to instal NWDI7.0 and it will be of great help if one of you could confirm if I have downloaded the installation files from the right place ie;service.sap.com/sp-stacks SP Stack Download->SP NetWeaver 2004s

SP07 for DI BUILD TOOL 7.00

SP07 for DI CHANGE MGMT SERVER 7.00

SP07 for DI COMPONENT BUILD SERVER 7.00

SP07 for DI_DESIGN TIME REPOSITORY 7.00

Now I am trying to find the installation guide for the same and I am unable to do so. It would be great if someone could tell me as to where I could find the NWDI Installation guide for 2004s.

Also, any documents on links stating how I could go about configuring webdynpro projects/components within NWDI would be of great help.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Divya Rao

http://service.sap.com/support -> Release & Upgrade Info -> Installation & Upgrade Guides -> SAP NetWeaver -> Release 2004s -> Installation -> Installation Documentation - SAP NetWeaver 2004s SR1 -> Pick your Platform and choose the Java link.

(I realize this thread is a little old, but I'll try before I make my own thread)

I am looking to install NWDI on my NW2004s/Enterprise Portal system (SPS08), and from what I've read in the NW2004 installation guide NWDI is a Usage Type and I could have only done the NWDI installation directly after SAPinst finishes running(I'm assuming when it finishes installing NW2004s?). Also it states that the AS Java usage type is a prerequisite for running NWDI.

It sounds like from this thread NWDI can be installed after the initial installation, as a sort of "add-in."

Is this possible, and if so, can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks so much,

    Beau.
