H.S Code Implication

Dear All Specialists,

Is it possible to add H.S code separately for each material when creating PO? That means I want to add H.S code when creating the PO not in Material Master.

Hi,

As per SAP standard, the field is not editable and it is advised that you fetch HSN code through material master.

Also can you explain why you need editable as HSN code per material will be unique.

Hi dear Amruta,

Every year customs duties changes for some materials. But it's very time consuming to change H.S code by material master. Also, fot some products we have to change HS code at the time of creating PO according to demand of our C&F agent. That's why we are preferring this.

Its possible to update HSN Code in Material Master through LSMW.
