While changing material in MM02 error 'Sales org. XXX, distr. channel XX invalid sales area' occurs

While trying to change the material in change material app following error occurrs "Sales org. XXX, distr. channel XX invalid sales area".

You are getting an error "Sales org. XXX, distr. channel XX invalid sales area" while changing the material in change material app because in SSCUI 102180 Define Common Distribution Channels for sales org and distr channel the field Ref.distr.channel-cus.material is not maintained correctly.

Maintain the field Ref.distr.channel-cus.material correctly in SSCUI Define Common Distribution Channels.
