What are the limitations of process instance without JAM

Hello Experts,

I am able to assign a task to the user who is not having JAM/Workzone access through process template.

What are the limitations of assigning a task without JAM/Workzone access.

I think the user will not get task notifications.

Can you please elaborate all the limitations in detail.
