SAP Digital Supply Chain and S4HC

Dear SAP Cloud Community,

The requirement of our client is to manage the production scheduling (as in APO) in S4HC.

So, I'd like to know if SAP Digital Supply Chain (DSC) should also contain the production scheduling part and if SAP DSC replaces PP-DM and is a solution able to do the production scheduling as APO did.

Besides, I'd like to know whether it is possible to implement SAP DSC in the S4HC and how.

How are you? I have excluded the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Supply Chain" for this question, as Production Scheduling is a Topic specific to Manufacturing Line of Business.

How are you? If the client is not using SAP SCM APO, I would recommend to use SAP IBP integrated with SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public), with specific Integrations, to manage the Demand Planning and the Production Scheduling. SAP SCM APO is a SAP Solution that will not be enhanced in the future. Differently, SAP IBP is the current SAP Solution to manage Demand Planning and Production Scheduling, for example.
