DSN - Batch ID length

Hello all,

Is there any standard option to control the length of the supplier batch ID in DSN (apart from CIG mapping function)?

The reason is that SAP has a maximum of 20 characters and if the supplier fills in a longer batch it causes errors that are not even notified by email.
