Using SAP BO 4.3 with Oracle

Hi;

New in the use of SAP BO 4.3 I would like to know if it is necessary to install Oracle client on a user station to access an Oracle database on server?
Is the installation of the Oracle drivers sufficient?
The Oracle version we are using is 12.
