In the app “Balance carryforward Status” to fiscal year 2021 and 2022 we have the run date 17.12.2020 and 17.12.2021.

Why the system execute the carryforward in this date?

The balance carryforward is automatically scheduled to run two weeks before the start of a new fiscal year and the opening balances for a fiscal year are made available.

Furthermore, balances are automatically updated whenever postings are made to the previous fiscal year. To handle postings that are made while a balance carryforward run is in process, balances are carried forward one day after the automatic balance carryforward is activated.
