Certification with expiry date

Dear All,

Actually i just cleared my SAP C_TS422_2021 exam and when i received my certification i noticed it's having a valid to date i.e my certification is valid only for 5 years i just want to know why?

As some of my colleagues said SAP certification is Valid for life time
