Capturing the Production order status PPRT

Dear Experts,

We have a requirement to capture the Production Order status (PPRT - Partially Printed) & while printing the PO in Adobe forms (Co02), we should print it as "Appendix" instead of original.

But once the PO is printed, it automatically changes back to PRT instead of PPRT.

we can get the status from JEST table, this i am aware of . Also we are using the "PPCO001 - EXIT_SAPLCOBT_001" inside which we are getting the status values from JEST. This exit doesn't have any Importing or Exporting parameters. So how to pass the status value back to the driver program and print the status is where we are stuck. Kindly input your solution approaches, its highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
