HANA 2.0 Revision upgrade - HANA Client update?

Hi Expert,

Is HANA 2.0 SP5 Revision upgrade required client version upgrade on application server?

Please share the exact steps to be followed in case of Scale out , MDC and DR scenarios

Hi Daniel,

The only thing that you need to be aware of is if the client does not support the SAP HANA Version/SP. You can check the compatibility in this SAP Note: 1906576 - SAP HANA client and server cross-version compatibility

Dear Daniel,

It is always recommeded to upgrade the HANA client with HANA reveision upgrade and in some cases it is manditory to have client upgrade with HANA reveision upgrade.

Client upgrade always help to overcome any bug which is present in previous version.

For the detail steps, you will have to follow SP05 notes which indeed has to link which has to be followed for detail steps.
