Inquiry about Reservation and active inventory

When an inventory is 100,demand is 100,there is no Purchase requisition.But if 10 of 100 inventory is set as reservation,demand is still 100.Does system consider an active inventory of 90 and purchase requisition of 10?

Hello arsenal123

A material reservation for a goods issue is just another demand from MRP perspective. So you'll have to following stock/requirements situation:

• initial stock 100
• reservation 10 --> available stock 90
• demand 100 --> available stock -10

MRP will create a supply proposal, either a purchase requisition or a planned order at this point.
