CDS Structure changes asking to deleting replicated data in DWC

Hi,

CDS Structure changes(adding new fields) in S4 asking to deleting replicated data in DWC before adding additional fields. Is there any workaround to avoid deleting data from DWC table before we incorporate CDS changes?
