Hello,

I see a batch job getting completed in SAP Production every day at 5:30 PM.

But when I checked in SM37DISP to show the same job in released state, I am unable to get job information.

what could be the reason , How to get the details, from where the batch job is getting triggered then??

if the job is triggered by an event, you have to choose this option in SM37 (or after event '*'). And don't forget to set the time range to 06:00 next day 😉

Hello,

Still I am not getting the result.

variant name is starting with &00.... and changing every day.

Is that the reason I am unable to see the job in released status?

No, the name of the variant does not matter.

Be sure to:

- enter the correct job name
- enter * as user name
- set the end date to tommorow or 31.12.9999 and enter * as event name
You can also use * as job name and enter the report name in the field 'Job Step'

Also, you can double click on a finished job running in the past. There is a field 'Job frequency' which shows the periodicity if the job configured as a periodic job. And if you click on 'Step' you find the abap report name in case you don't know it.

With these parameters, you should find the job if the job was planned with SM37. If you use a third party scheduling tool like Redwood, i don't know if there is a possibility to schedule a periodic job in a way which hides the future runs.

Best regards
