Heat Treatment Characteristics in Sales Order by default is “NO” during its creation. Sales Team changes it to “YES” or “ Blank” or "No" as per their requirement. For Heat treatment Characteristics “NO” & “ Blank” maintained in Sales order then its dependent Finish & Rough Production orders should be created based on this. Its working properly for YES and NO conditions but when kept blank it should take by default take NO condition. But instead in production it takes YES for dependent material. Any solution?

Hello tirth.dave.

How are you? I have excluded the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud" and included the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Sales" for this question, as Sales Order is an Object exclusive of Sales Line of Business.

Regards.

Hello @tirth.dave

Have you considered using Object Dependencies ( Preconditions , Selection Conditions ) to control the setting of the value for Heat Treatment Characteristics ?

$ROOT.HEAT_TREATMENT = 'Yes' this is the condition set for FG material and SFG material is dependent on this.
