How is it possible to auto copy Posting Date Year only to another User Defined Field?

Select $[$10.0.1] works but Select year(docdate) from OINV is not working in FMS.

Please advise if you know the correct Query for FMS.

In SAP Note 2335958 which is a trouble shooting link you can also find many examples of the syntax needed for FMS. As for retrieving the year only, you can use the select below, but it should be altered to the FMS syntax.

select year(docdate) from OXXX
