Outbound Idoc goes to status 23

Outbound idoc goes into status 23 on trying to process using tcode WE19-->standard outbound processing.

The status change order for the idoc is:

Idoc created--> idoc generated --> ready for dispatch --> Idoc sent to SAP system(Data passed to port OK) --> error during dispatch --> error during retransmission.

Please guide me on this as I believe there is no Custom logic behind this status 23.

WE19 copy the IDOC, it not process it, use BD87

Check the error log in BD87, you certainly miss customizing of your system connection
