Asset needs one cost center assigned to depreciation and one for the cost center that owns it

Good afternoon,

We are trying to figure out if there is a way to assign a fixed asset to 2 different cost centers.

• Default the overhead cost center for depreciation
• A department cost center for who owns the cost center.

We do not want the same cost center used, but we also don't want the actual depreciations to hit the departments cost center for budgets.
