IBP Product Lifecycle: cannot see Customer Country in Manage Product Lifecycle

Hi gurus

I'm learning by myself all about Product Lifecycle and I've been reading the SAP document and watched the SAP video

I cant see in our system how to select the Customer Country or Customer Region to be displayed in the Manage Product Lifecycle main page like in the snapshot of the SAP demo

The only Attribute that its displayed in our system is the Product ID. How do we fix/change this?

The objective is to be able to assign a combination of Product and Country to obtain a country specific forecast

Thanks in advance for your help

Roberto

Hi Robert,

Just came across this question and given the date on it, maybe you already got an answer. Please see below if you have not. To see "Customer Region" under "Product Assignments" in Manager Product Lifecycle App, you will have to add "Customer Region" as a Level for lifecycle planning first. This is done in the app- Settings for Product Lifecycle. Copying a section of this blog below - Lifecycle Planning with SAP IBP | SAP Blogs- which provides the relevant info:

Clicking on ‘Planning Area Settings’ is going to open the screen as shown in Fig 06 where we have to assign levels for lifecycle planning. These levels are the combinations at which we can assign reference products. By default, Level 1 is going to be populated with the Product Identifier’ attribute selected earlier (Fig 04). Let’s say we have the requirement where a new product, for example Prod_New, is to replace an old product say, Prod_Old, we just need to maintain Product ID as the Level 1. However, let’s say the requirement is that Prod_New is replacing Prod_Old1 for Customer1 and Prod_Old2 for Customer2, then Customer ID needs to be introduced as a level as well, since it influences the product assignments.

Thanks

Kunal
