Mapping Fields for DFM synchronization from Initiative to Item

Hello,

We want to map some initiative's field with item's field.

We want to do like a vertical synchronization, but we didn't find it, so we have done 'default attributes on create', but this only synchronizes the fields at the item creation. If we modify the field in the initiative, the item field is not modified.

Which synchronization scenario should we use?

Hello Community,

To enable DFM vertical synchronization of fields from an initiative to its assigned items when modifying the field value in the initiative, you should maintain the mapping for scenario ID "Standard Mapping":

Customizing activity "Maintain Field Mappings"
-> Main Grouping INITIATIVE / Subgrouping INITIATIVE
-> map the fields to Target Main Grouping PPO / Target Subgrouping PPO with Scenario ID "Standard Mapping"

As you have already found out, maintaining the same mapping for Scenario ID "Default Attributes on Create" takes care of DFM synchronization of the field values on initial creation of the assigned item in the initiative.
