Sir,
I want to generate the planning requirement (PR or Schedule line generation through MRP) for Child part in SAP system, but the parent part also we procured from Vendor through Purchase order.
Example:
Part A - Procured from Vendor 1.
To manufacture the Part A, Vendor 1 need Part B. But this item is imported item and request us to procure the same.
So we procure Part B item from other Vendor and despatch to Vendor 1 through Sales process.
Final Head Part is Part Z, under this Part A is the child part available in BOM. During our MRP run requirement generated only for Part A. We required Part B also.
Kindly support how to configure this in SAP and get the PR or Schedule lines generation automatically from SAP through MRP planning.

Hello r.vaithiyanathan
What you are look at is a typical subcontracting process - refer to the SAP Help pages:
Bear in mind that in the generic subcontracting process, components are provided to a vendor free of charge, as you are always their owner.
If you have to sell the components, have a look at Subcontracting with Chargeable Components process.

Hello Dominik Tylczynski,
As mentioned in my earlier post,
Part A is procured from Vendor 1
Part B is procured from Vendor 2 and selling to Vendor 1.
If i am maintaining the Subcontract BOM, then Part B Cost will be added in Part A. That should not be happened. Part B is separate transaction.

Hello r.vaithiyanathan
See the following SAP Help page Subcontracting Process for the details of subcontracting with chargeable components i.e. components that you sell to the vendor. All the steps are explained there, along with how valuation works, how the process steps are posted, also nice examples are provided.
Best regards
