transport the IBP Business role

I am new to IBP can some one tell me how to transport IBP business role from CERT to PRod environment. I know we have to use the Export Software collection tile but I am missing some steps please assist.

Hi,

You have two options to export business roles. You can explore option #2

1. Export/Import

2. Download IBP roles as XML files from test tenant and upload them manually in production tenant.

I am able to export the role in CERT environment but in production Import Collection tab there is no items to import showing up. We thought it could be our access initially but even basis cannot see anything to import. Any input from you is appreciated.

Hi Adnan,

Yes, you come in the correct way. In the "export software collection" app, please add the item: type "business role", then choose which business roles you wanted to transport. After that do the checking if there's an error. If no error you can click on export and access to the production system to import that collection.
