Multiple business volume selection in condition contract settlement

Hello all,

I would like to ask if the following scenario is possible by standard. A customer has a rebate agreement with scales. The following rates apply: Sales volume from $0 - $10,000 - 1%, above $10,000 - 2%. The sales volume is based on products 1, 2 and 3, while the rebate payout is calculated however on products 3, 4 and 5.

For example, customer has purchased $15,000 of product 1, 2 and 3 and $5,000 of products 3, 4 and 5 for the month of April. Since they purchased $15,000 from product 1, 2 and 3, they are eligible for a 2% rebate. They are entitled to a $100 rebate (2% from $5,000, and not 2% from $15,000).

Is this possible by standard?

Thanks

Hello Yordan,

Do you know the answer now ? I have the same issue.

And I'm trying to resolve it using a new condition with calculation of a the BV within a routine.

Hello Yordan,

you have to use selection groups to distinguish between different business volumes. Additional adjustments are needed in the pricing area to make sure that the correct base amount is set.

Thorsten

Thank you, Thorsten for the quick reply! Just to confirm - within the same contract, when it is settled, the business volume is transferred to let's say condition type REBV. But this business volume is the one which brings us the correct rate. The business volume which should be the base for the calculation should have different selection criteria. You are saying that it is possible to achieve this using selection groups within the same condition contract and have the alternative (second) business volume transferred to REBV or possibly another condition type, is this correct?

Thank you!

Hi Thorsten, could you please elaborate on the additional adjustment in pricing? Are they related to creating alternative condition base formula in the settlement document pricing procedure, or is there any other standard configuration available?
