Hello Team,
Does SAP Mobile Start Supports ECC AnyDB or only S/4HANA
Thanks,
Nwv
Hi.
You can use SAP Mobile Start having ECC system (AnyDB).
One of the prerequisites for Mobile Start is having Launchpad Services enabled. If you expose your ECC data (regardless of DB) or any other data as Fiori apps, you can also enable them on Mobile Start.
A (very) high level architecture is as follows:
ECC <=> Cloud Connector <=> BTP <=> Mobile Start.
In the bottom you will find a screenshot of a demo we did.
It enables user to easy approve (or reject) Purchase Orders, on the go, using SAP Mobile Start. Those Purchase Orders live in the SAP ECC system.
PS: I also put two links to related reads: First one about connecting On-Prem system (e.g. ECC) to BTP which would be your 1st step to show your ECC data in Fiori apps, accessible from Launchpad.
Second read is about setting up the Mobile Start itself.
