Can we use BTP instead of Convergent Mediation for BRIM implementation project?

Dear Friends,

We are starting a BRIM implementation project. Need some clarification . Our Client has BTP ( Business Technology Platform) . Can we use BTP in place of CM for BRIM implementation.
