Howdy,
We have the newest Business Objects Data Services 4.2 installation at our department using an oracle18c Database for the repositories.
Is it possible to use this to pull data from an oracle 9i database?
Currently I’m getting an error when I try to connect to 9i database from Business Objects Data Services 4.2 server.
WARNING: Cannot establish database connection. 'OCI call <OCISessionBegin> for connection <dcsrep> failed:
<ORA-03134: Connections to this server version are no longer supported.>' (BODI-1111341)
How should I fix this error without upgrading the external Oracle 9i Database?
Thank you very much in advance.
Cheers,
Asanka Haradasa
Thanks very much Daya Jha. We created a JDBC adopter and uploaded data from the Oracle 9i Database. But it is extremely slow.
