Hi Everyone,
We are trying to migrate data from ECC (SAP R3) tables (both custom and standard) into Azure Data Lake via SAP Data Intelligence pipelines. Here are my queries:
1. From the SAP Blogs and the SAP notes related to ECC - DI integration, it is said that we need to setup SLT replication between the two systems:
https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2831756)
My question is, whether it is possible to replicate the data from ECC to Azure Data lake via SAP DI with only RFC connection without setting up SLT server?
2. We are upgrading our DMIS version to DMIS 2011 SP17. As this is the minimum version required for SAP DI connection as per the SAP notes, Does it have any impact on data movement between SAP ECC and SAP Data Intelligence?
3. When migrating the data from SAP ECC to Azure Data lake via SAP DI, will the source tables be locked for other transactions. For example: If we are moving the data from MARA table of ECC to ADL via SAP DI, whether MARA table be locked for Read and Write operations.
Thanks and Regards,
