How to add custom fields in Change Material App in S4 Hana Cloud

I need to add a custom field in the Change and Display Material app in S4 Hana Cloud.

However, I am not able to find a Custom Fields Tab / While creating a custom field I am not able to find the correct business context to enable it to be added in the Change Material or Display Material App.

Please let me know in case of any further details required.

The Apps Create Material / Change Material / Display Material dont currently support the adding of custom fields.

Please use the Manage Product Master Data app to use Extensibility

Thanks for your reply and sharing this link.

We have added few custom fields to the Manage Product Master Data Application. We wanted to check if we can also use those same fields in the Display/Change Material Master Apps.

But as per the link it seems we can only extend custom fields to the Manage Product Master Data.

Thats correct. You can only extend custom fields to the new Manage Product Master Data app

In an On-Premise system , it is possible by following the note 44410 ( https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/44410 ) to add custom fields in the transactions MM01 / MM02 / MM03 but this is not available in S/4HANA Cloud for the Create Material / Change Material / Display Material apps unfortunately
