[Bug] Universal ID Problem with Linked Accounts

Hi,

I am facing some problems with my universal ID.

I have 2 linked accounts: lemoreno (older and outdated) and lemoreno7 (newer and updated). Until a few days ago, when i logged into sap community portal with my universal id, it lets me log in with my newer account, so when i wrote a post or i answered a question in the community portal, the newer account got points and reputation. Today, when i log into my sap universal ID, it is logging into my older account.

Please, i need to recover my newer account, because it has more reputation than the older one. I dont know what to do.

Hello lemoreno,

If you have your old and new ID both added under same Universal account and you try to access community using Universal account in incognito mode then system should allow you to choose between the two accounts.
Beside if you are using same email ID in both ID's you can try login using User ID's instead. See if that works

Hi Debjit Singha,

I tried your tips, but i forgot to say before that my newer account looks like if it is linked with my S-user ID, but this one has expired. I dont know if there is a way to recover it.

Hello lemoreno,

Usually when you try to login under incognito mode and if you have multiple ID's mapped under Universal ID, you get prompt to select the desired account. Provided either you clear entire browser history/ cookies etc or access in incognito mode.


If https://account.sap.com/manage/accounts#linked you find both of your ID's, then above step should let you select the desired account. Beside you can try to unlink or check status of individual accounts as well.

Worst case get in touch with support and wait for couple of days. Usually they resolve these kind of issues quickly, provided your new account is not expired.
