Using 3rd party API to fetch data from SAP

Hello,

We're targeting a small integration of our proprietary application with the SAP ERP system.

For the same integration,

1. Can a 3rd party API be configured to fetch data from SAP?

2. If yes, do we need any schedulers to pull data periodically from SAP side, or would that be automatic?

Hi Raveesh

1. If the third-party API has support for the SAP ERP system? if it is yes then you can pull /push the data from SAP.

2. it is all about depending on the third-party API. In your environment, if you are using the SAP PI /XI you can do the online integration to sync the data from SAP to the third-party API.
