Sap Analytic cloud Data analyzer and live connection to bw on hana

Hello community

I have a question about the Save insight functionality that we have in data analyzer

In case of a live connection to bw 7.5 on hana, does this option save any data to cloud or it will just save the structure of the BW query or the metadata.

Hello kam_dzn,

When it comes to live data connection, SAC only saves metadata and sometime indexes as well. Other than that, no data is saved on SAC side.

Below wiki link goes over how live connection works. Specificaly the "Data Flow" section. Scenario will be same when you are using insight option via data analyzer.
