Hi All,
We are upgrading our SAP BO from existing 41 SP 10 version to 4.2 SP 09 version and will be following side by side approach to do so. i.e. build a new system and install 4.2 SP 09 and migrate contents Need to confirm if beow steps on high level is correct flow of activity :
1. Build new VM and install 4.2 SP 09 Patch X.
2. Update the license key
3. Configure the CMS services
4. In CMC - configure Audit DB
5. Migrate the contents (Users/users -group/reports/universes/connections etc)
6. Apply the user security and authorization on folder structure.
7. Test
---> We do not need to copy the CMS and Audit DB as part of upgrade approach, migration of contents via promotion mgmt should help ?
--> Is there anything else which needs to be considered on high level?
