Certificates for B2B Add On

Hello Experts,

Good Day!! I am working on certificate management for B2B Add On in SAP PO.

I have never worked on certificates before and checked a lot on certificate management in SAP B2B Add on in PO but did not get anything on how to install certificates for B2B add on in PO , how to mange these certificates,how ti use them in B2B adapters.

Really appreciate if you guide me with some blogs or documents for certificate management in SAP B2B Add On in SAP PO.

Certificates tab

  • You can define the automatic certificate Rollovers for NWA certificates in Profiles > Certificate section.
  • Currently, you can only view the certificate profiles related to a specific trading partner in the Certificate Tab of Partner Profile. You can also add, edit and store certificates in Profiles > Certificate section.
  • By default, the expiry time of certificate is selected as Rollover time. You can customize this time according to your need.
  • You cannot add/store a new certificate form this screen. You can only access the certificates that have already been uploaded in NWA.
  • After Rollover, new certificate replace the old active certificate. You can also define the backup view to archive the replaced certificate.

There is Certificates tab in Partner tab in TPM. What is the use of that?

How to handle and store B2B Certificate in NWA, check: AS2 Certificate Handling
How to point Certificates and Keys at your AS2 Adapter, check: Configuring AS2 Adapters provided by B2B toolkit 1.0

I think you need to set the Alert in TPM, don't need to add / upload.

Check 'Certificates tab' : Trading Partner Management Part 4 – Trading Partner Profile

Hello Experts,

Can someone please help me on this?

I checked a few discussions and blogs and figured out something , please correct me if I am wrong.

There is alerting provision in TPM in B2B and we can store the certificates in NWA and trigger alerts from TPM, is it right?

so the steps to store the alerts in NWA in SAP PO is same as the old one while the alerting step for notifying the certificate expiration or rollover can be taken from the below SAP Help document

Now I have one question for B2B alerting do we need to add the certificates in TPM? If so how?
