Article Master creation : Reference Sales Org & Distribution Channel linkage

Dear All ,

When I am creating a Article Master in MM41 with out executing listing, Article is created only in Reference DC and Reference Store based on retail customising and entries are getting created in MARC .

But also one entry is also getting created in MVKE(sales) and also in WLK2( POS view data ) for a particular sales org and Distribution channel combination . How system decides which SORG+DC combination to pick ?

Is there any setting for reference SORG+DC in SPRO ?

During Article creation,

1 - did you touch the Listing, POS, or Sales tabs and switch validity areas?

2 - does the reference article assigned to the merchandise category of the new Article have any MVKE records?

Thank you very much for your reply . After some analysis I understood that system is trying to extend to Sorg+DC which is given in the initial screen of MM41 .
