How to connect to AL11 of S/4 HANA Cloud using CPI

Hi,

In our System Landscape, we have S/4 HANA Cloud (private edition) as source and the target is a SFTP server and CPI is the integration layer.

S/4 HANA Cloud (AL11) -> CPI -> Remote SFTP Server

A job generates flat files in the AL11 folders of the S/4HANA Cloud, could I use the sender SFTP adapter in CPI to connect and read the files from S/4HANA Cloud AL11 folders without any extra setup?

joel.langoyan We didn't need to implement this(due to some org decisions). But I believe you would have to mount a SFTP server on ECC and use SFTP connector to read files from AL11 into Cloud Integration.

Any idea if instead of mounting an sftp on ecc or the ecc application server can itself be hosted as an sftp ?

Hi sivasakthi.dan,

What I understand is you are having S4/Hana cloud Private edition, so you might need to check raising a support ticket if you would be able to mount SFTP on the same landscape. But to answer your query there is no adapter currently avaialble to read from on-premise directory without SFTP/FTP server in place.

we have the same requirement to pick files from AL11 into CPI, but our system is ECP webGUI. Is it possible in webGUIs? If yes then how to setup technical settings? Any lead will be appreciated.

Hi sivasakthi.dan,

Currently NFS is not supported in file adapter in Cloud integration, so its not possible to read file from the local directory.

SFTP/FTP adapter could read from only respective supported protocols.
