Higher Duty assignment in Employee central

Hi All ,

Did anyone configured higher duty assignment with latest changes ? I am facing the fallowing issues.

1. We do not want to maintain the pay component in the pay scale level.

2. Not able to compare the data between the main position and higher duty assignment .For example , employee is in Position A and adding the higher duty assignment with position B. I want to compare the Position A department with Position B department is equal or not ? Is it possible to compare the same. Please let me know, thank you.

1. We do not want to maintain the pay component in the pay scale level.

Ans. Pay scale is mandatory only when Responsibility type is Full Responsible and Allowance type is Base and Comp allowance. For other options , we no need to maintain pay components in the pay scale level.

If we don't maintain , auto calculation of allowance will not be calculated.

2. Not able to compare the data between the main position and higher duty assignment .For example , employee is in Position A and adding the higher duty assignment with position B. I want to compare the Position A department with Position B department is equal or not ? Is it possible to compare the same. Please let me know, thank you.

Ans. This is not possible to compare the data between two branches of the employments. The workflow will trigger based on the event derivation only.
