Restrict the user from updating the first few months in MD62

Dear Experts,

We have a requirement to restrict the users from updating or changing the PIR quanties for the first 3 months using the tcode MD62. Is there anyway possibe to acheive this via Standard or Custom process ? We are loading the demand via Interface as well as Uploading using excel. Quick answer is greatly appreaciated.
