How to give authorization to magnifying glass tool in user defined value in SAP Business 1?

Can anyone tell me how to grant access to the magnifying glass tool in a user defined value? The value comes from a saved query. It is important that this value is populated with the magnifying glass and not auto-refreshed. User is getting "You are not permitted to perform this action" when they click the magnifying glass.
