Termination PM order confirmation if incorrect goods movement

Hi,

The standard functionality allows termination of PM Order confirmation incase of incorrect goods movement in T Code: IW42. The setup for this function is activated in T Code: OIOR as shown below, but the confirmation is still possible and material end up in COGI, means confirmation is still possible even after this setup in customization. The sap help text is not that clear on what more setup is needed to terminate IW42 based PM Order confirmation.

This customizing settings in OIOR does not effect IW42. IW41 and IW42 work in different way. In IW41 a linkage occurs between goods movement and completion confirmation that you cannot find in the overall completion confirmation. For this reason, the function 'Cancel' leads to a termination per configuration in Transaction IW41 and not in Transaction IW42.

And the cancel option is removed by old note 818557 and you can also find the detail explanation about system logic in the note.

Hi, You may have to create a copy SAP1 process control key and assign it in OIOR. Because, you may need to try with other settings of Auto GR & Backflush indicator combination. In your case Auto GR indicator is set as 2 (later in background). You may have to try with different value of this indicator.

Also check the flag 'Final Confirmation' flag in OIOR, whether this influences this process.

Hi,

But it is only goods issue with 261 movement type happening here, so why do we need auto GR?

I am unsure whether we need Process control key to be maintained to meet this requirement.
