Is there any Data Service Tools offered in BTP for Data Migration?

we are exploring data migration for S/4HANA Cloud 3 systel Landscape. We would like to know whether there is any Data Service Tools offered on BTP.

Hi Dimpu,

As you know we recommend to use the migration cockpit included in S/4HANA Cloud.

However to get an overview on which tools you can use to fill your staging tables I recommend you to review this information:

Hello All,

Any Update on the SAP Data Services Tool on BTP

Greetings abbya,

SAP Data Services is and on-premise tool and currently there are no plans to to integrate SAP Data Services on BTP. We do however have HANA Cloud Integration for Data services (HCI-DS), which is a cloud version of the on-prem SAP Data Services, but just like data services it's currently not integrated with BTP.

The one tool that is integrated with BTP is SAP HANA Smart Data Integration and SAP HANA Smart data quality which allows you to connect and query multiple autonomous data sources as if they were a single source and highly recommended to load data from disparate sources into HANA.

• SAP HANA Smart Data Integration and SAP HANA Smart Data Quality
• SAP Cloud Integration for data services

Hi Dimpu,

For data migration to S/4HANA Cloud, Migration Cockpit is the only tool available.

However, we also have SAP Data Services which is the tool also designed for data migration, we usually use the tool to migrate data to on-premise solutions. And it is a much more powerful tool which not only cover the ETL process but also data profiling, data quality, etc.

Hi Dumpu,

SAP S/4HANA Cloud, test data refresh is offered for S/4 HANA Cloud. It doesn´t cater to BTP.
